YORKE PENINSULA COUNCIL SOUTH AUSTRALIA POLYCHLOR  WORKS

Yorke Peninsula Council (YPC) in South Australia has utilised Polychlor since 2021 to reduce dust on unsealed local roads in areas near residents.  YPC has extensive experience in the application of Polychlor in various scenarios.  The Polychlor treatment has significantly reduced complaints from residents, while also reducing road maintenance needs.  Polychlor provides strong adhesion of soil particles in materials with a PI of 0 to 20, this characteristic holds the road surface together and reduces dust and gravel loss.

Most of the pavements treated at YPC are low in plasticity.  The YPC staff have applied the Polychlor independantly with the assistance of written instructions.  For further information about the Polychlor application at YPC please contact us;
