PROJECT EXAMPLE - CONCRETE ADMIXTURE DOSING SYSTEM

Fifth Element Automation completed this system from scratch including all pumps, flowmeters, sensors, controls and software.

PROJECT EXAMPLE - AERATED WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM CONTROLLER

Our aerated wastewater treatment system (AWTS) controller comes with a rugged industrial quality electronics platform designed for reliability.  System components include a PLC, PCB and HMI screen.  Our AWTS controllers are cutomised to meet the requirements of the system manufacturers environmental approvals and licencing.

We also offer integration of the system with popular home automation systems, so users can receive system alarm notifications anywhere anytime on Android and IOS devices.

The HMI screen provides a comprehensive user interface with user inputs for system control, equipment status indication and alarms integrated with the Zigbee home automation system.

Programing of this system is in Ladder PLC language

Our AWTS controller can be integrated with the Zigbee home automation network, allowing the user to receive alarm notifications anywhere, anytime on IOS or Android mobile devices.

 

CAPABILITY - CIRCUIT BOARD DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE

Fifth Element Automation is able to design, specify and source circuit boards for any purpose.  Our circuit boards provide clients with significant savings in labour and cost compared to building control panels by hand.  The quality and uniformity of our printed circuit boards contribute to our client's success by eliminating the error associated with hand assembled control panels.

LOAD CELLS AND LOAD CELL SIGNAL AMPLIFIERS

Our load cells and signal amplifiers can be supplied with a mass display unit or the signal can be integrated into PLC by 4-20mA signal or 0-10V signal

PROJECT EXAMPLE - MIXING TANK CONTROLLER

This project is to control a mixing tank, that pumps back into a storage tank while maintaininig level control in the mixing tank.

This system was programmed using ladder logic

 

INSTRUMENTATION

Fifth Element Automation is able to specify and source specialised instruments for our customer's requirements.  For this, we tap into the expertise of a range of experienced manufacturers.

Instrumentation example - Pressure switch factory set to 17.5kPa for a specialised application.  Features normally closed and normally open contacts.

MOTOR CONTROL

Fifth Element Automation is able to specify and configure sophisticated motor controllers and integrate the controllers into the PLC control system.

WEG vector inverter capable of 3 phase output from 240VAC single phase input up to 2.2kW

Bonfiglioli Synplus and Vectron drives can be configured for a wide range of motor control applications
